I love to compare products when I'm buying pretty much anything and I love websites that help me out with that. That's probably why I buy many things from Amazon - I know I can count on shopper reviews to give me a perspective on why any particular item is good or bad or just not suited for what I want it for. I might not always buy from Amazon, but I generally always start there. I'm sure you have your own favorite sites too.
So did you know that pet insurance has it's own independent website that has customer reviews on it? No, it's not Amazon, it's Pet Insurance Review. The site lists all the current companies selling pet insurance in the US and Canada, but most importantly it includes customer reviews.
How do you know if the reviews are real? Well, you don't but if there are enough of them all saying one thing or another, you can probably tell if there's some ring of truth to it. We shoppers are pretty savvy about that kind of thing when it comes down to it.
Just so you know, at Embrace we encourage all our claimants to fill in a review when we send out our Explanation of Benefits. And I mean all our claimants. That's everyone, including those claims where we paid out less than was claimed for such as if the claim was for a pre-existing condition that we don't cover or for an illness if it was an accident-only policy. It does happen sometimes.
We stand by what our customers say about us even if they didn't get as much as they claimed for. If we can't do that, what are we in business for?
And no, we never fake a review about ourselves - we don't need to :)
Go put in an Embrace Pet Insurance Review now - whatever you want to say.
