This is very exciting!
In a previous entry, I wrote about this intelligent kitty litter that indicates whether the cat has an urinary tract infection or other urinary issues. Well, the kitty litter has arrived and Barnes is now using it - kind of. Actually, it's in his litter tray but since the weather is much nicer, he much prefers to go do his business outside so he hasn't used his tray yet. The litter is much lighter too so perhaps he doesn't get that nice digging sensation when it's all fluffy and light.
I must say that the litter instructions aren't very good as it came in a "two-pack system", which implies to me that there is some sort of process apart from tipping it into the litter tray. When you open the box, you get one bag of maintenance litter and one bag of the health checker. Am I supposed to mix them and if so, why would it come un-mixed? If I'm not supposed to mix them, why would I want the maintenance type when I can check my cat's health all the time? I bought the litter for the health checker so that's what I want to use it for. The instructions give no guidance so, I mixed them and we'll see what happens.
